2024 Lunch & Learn Series

Bring your lunch and listen to Lawrence Sobson, the Partnership Coordinator for the MDNR Urban and Community Forestry Program. He will present the basics of urban and community forestry best practices and what resources are available for you to use. Species dynamics, economics, ordinances, and standards will all be touched on to help build a rudimentary understanding of a communities trees and their usually unseen and unrecognized benefits. This is a great opportunity for Planners, Public Works Departments, Elected and Appointed Officials.

This event is open to the public, all are welcome!
