(May 14, 2025) On Wednesday March 14th, 2025 at approximately 2:30 a.m. a deputy with the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office was conducting stationary radar enforcement on Grand River Avenue near Hacker Road when
they observed a motorcycle traveling at 70 miles per hour in the posted 40 mile per hour speed zone.

The deputy attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the 2006 Yamaha motorcycle which immediately fled westbound on Grand River Avenue at a high rate of speed. A pursuit was initiated and continued westbound on Grand River Avenue with speeds reaching 100 mph. The suspect eventually turned northbound on Latson Road and then entered into the Glens at Rolling Ridge apartment complex. Once inside the complex the driver left the roadway and attempted to drive into the subdivision to the north of the apartment complex where he lost control before reaching Snowden Lane. The suspect fled on foot after abandoning the motorcycle in the yard of a residence on Snowden Lane.

With the assistance of several witnesses in the area and other evidence located with the motorcycle deputies were able to identify the suspect, a 41 year old Howell resident. He was later taken into custody at his residence in the 3000 block of Audrey Rae Lane without further incident.

The subject was lodged at the Livingston County Jail for fleeing and eluding along with a parole violation. During the investigation it was determined the subject had been released in November of 2024 on parole from the Michigan Department of Corrections.
