Tax Allocation Board Meeting
The Tax Allocation Board allocates the millages which may be levied by the County, Townships and Intermediate School Districts in the County. Tax allocation begins on the third Monday in April. Each unit submits a budget for the board’s review. On the third Monday in May, the allocation board issues a notice of preliminary tax allocation along with the time of a public hearing. Any taxing authority may be heard at the public hearing.
