Do it for Dan Memorial Ride

Go Liv Co – Horal Family Foundation is developing and advocating for SAFE active mobility solutions in Livingston County:
After Dan’s passing on April 26, 2019, Hometown Bicycles, Brighton, MI organized the “Do It for Dan” (DIFD) Memorial Ride held May 5, 2019. This event brought together over 500 people to complete the ride Dan was never able to finish. This annual event was established to promote safe cycling and create awareness to safely “share the road”. Dan may be gone, but he will never be forgotten. It is the Foundation’s intention to turn this tragedy into a positive and prevent another cyclist/motorist/family/friend from the same horrific experience.

An additional purpose of the DIFD ride is to raise funds to continue our effort in Liv Co. We can not make the changes needed without the support of the community. Donating and volunteering is the best way to move the needle forward.
