Women, Infants & Children (WIC) is a federal health and nutrition program that helps pregnant women, new mothers, infants, and young children eat well and stay healthy. WIC also provides nutrition education and counseling, breastfeeding support and help accessing health care and other resources. WIC enrollment is based upon income and nutritional needs.
Eligibility & Enrollment
- Pregnant women
- Women who are breastfeeding a baby that is less than one year of age
- Women who have had a baby in the past six months
- Infants and children under the age of five years
Does your family qualify for the WIC program? You will automatically qualify for WIC benefits if you are on Medicaid, receiving SNAP (food stamps), or in foster care. If you are not enrolled in these programs, refer to the WIC Income Guidelines.

To file a program discrimination complaint, a Complainant should complete a Form AD-3027, USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form which can be obtained online, from any USDA office, by calling (866) 632-9992, or by writing a letter addressed to USDA. The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:
