The Livingston County Health Department (LCHD) Immunization Clinic provides vaccines for children, teens, and adults. Our clinic is by appointment only.
Note: LCHD is no longer offering TB Skin Testing. Please contact your primary care provider or a local urgent care for TB testing services. A list of sites that provide testing is on our tuberculosis webpage.

Note: You may also be charged a $23 administration fee for each vaccine, depending on your ability to pay.
Insurance Billing
LCHD accepts the following insurance plans. We may also be able to bill Medicaid and Medicare B for adults depending on their type of coverage and vaccines requested. Please call (517) 546-9850 for more information.

If your insurance coverage is not listed above, please note: LCHD is not able to bill other commercial insurance companies at this time. Adults and children with insurance coverage not listed above can receive vaccines, but will be charged the cost of the vaccine in addition to the vaccine administration fee. It is your responsibility to check with your insurance company to determine if the insurance company will reimburse you when you receive vaccinations at the LCHD. Please call your insurance company regarding reimbursement prior to arriving at the clinic. LCHD may not be a participating provider for some insurance companies, so it is important that you tell your insurance company you are receiving vaccines at the health department. LCHD will give you the a form to submit to your insurance carrier for reimbursement.
Discounts & Programs
LCHD participates in the Vaccine for Children (VFC) program that covers the cost of the vaccine for children who are eligible for the program. Children age birth through 18 years are eligible for the VFC program if they:
- Have Medicaid insurance (Medicaid will be billed), or
- Do not have health insurance, or
- Are American Indian or Alaska Native descent, or
- Have health insurance that does not cover the cost of the vaccination.

Travel Vaccines
A travel consultation fee of $104 per person will be charged at the time of your appointment. Fees for vaccines are assessed on a per-dose basis (see pricing below). Payment is due at the time of service. We do not accept checks for travel services.
Note: We accept limited insurance plans for this service. See the Insurance Billing section of our immunizations page for a list of accepted plans. Some travel vaccines may not be covered by your insurance. Please be prepared to pay out of pocket at the time of service.
