The Michigan Public Health Code requires schools, preschools and childcare centers to report student immunization levels and communicable illnesses to their local public health department. Requirements apply to public schools, private schools, and childcares.

The Livingston County Health Department offers public health resources, education, and support to local schools. Here you can explore the many programs and materials available to your school including information about communicable disease and immunization reporting.
