Surplus Auctions
To bid on available items, please visit the MITN Surplus Auctions website. All bidders must register to participate.
On an on-going basis, Livingston County disposes of surplus property. This includes patrol vehicles cars, fleet trucks, buses, forfeiture and seized items, computers, etc., via an online auction process. The listing for sale notice will include the County location of the item and when and where they can be inspected. All items are sold “as is, where is” with no warranties or guarantees.
Process
The winning bidder will receive an invoice from Livingston County. Auction item(s) will be available for pick-up at the location listed on the invoice. Please pay the invoice at the Livingston County Treasurer’s office at 200 E. Grand River Ave., Howell, MI 48843.
The purchaser must coordinate pick-up of their item(s) with the County representative listed on the invoice within five business days of being invoiced. To pick-up auction item(s), the purchaser will need to present proof of payment and a valid picture ID.
