Realtor Resources
Health-related resources and information for realtors and potential home buyers/sellers.
Livingston County Health Department (LCHD) does not have a point-of-sale program. We do not conduct inspections on well and septic systems when a property changes ownership. However, well and septic records (excluding soil evaluations) may be searched using our online record search.
In the event a new well and/or septic system needs to be installed, a permit must be applied for by the contractor or property owner. For any property additions and/or modification such as adding a sunroom, garage, pool, deck, etc., LCHD requires a site review.
