Infant Safe Sleep Program

Livingston County EMS is proud to be one of only 18 EMS/Fire agencies in the State of Michigan who participate in the Infant Safe Sleep Program.

The Infant Safe Sleep Program is designed to train first responders to identify unsafe sleep practices, provide on scene education, share resources, and connect families to local support. The Infant Safe Sleep Certification Program for EMS agencies and fire departments helps agencies and departments set up a training program for their providers, connect with local resources, and provide safe sleep resources to families.

Livingston County Paramedics are able to provide resources to families in need of assistance in properly caring for infants.
