Campaign Finance reports filed with the Livingston County Elections Division can be viewed for local, school and county candidates as well as political action and ballot question committees. Hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

A committee that files a Post-Election Campaign Statement during December is exempt from filing the Annual statement.
These statements are required by all Ballot Question Committees and Candidate Committees of candidates that have NO election in 2023 that do not have the reporting waiver.

  • Pre and Post-Election Campaign Statements for each election which expenditures are made; and
  • April, July, and October Campaign Statement (April, July, and October are waived if the overlapping Pre and Post-Election CS are filed; October CS are not owed in even years).
48 Hour/Late Contribution Reports (LCR) following a Pre-Election Campaign Statement.

Reporting Waiver

Committees that qualify for and maintain the $1,000.00 Reporting Waiver are not required to file campaign statements. The Reporting Waiver does not waive the 48 Hour/Late Contribution Reports (LCR), other immediate disclosure reports or Petition Proposal Statements. To file for a reporting waiver, complete and submit this form.
