What We Do

The Livingston County Drain Commissioner’s Office manages and operates the Livingston Regional Sanitary System (LRSS) serving portions of Hartland and Tyrone Township.

The Office also operates several community sanitary sewer systems. Current community sanitary sites that are maintained by our office: Deer Creek, Eagle Ravines, Greenock Hills, Highland Hills, Irish Hills, Long Lake Pines, Oaks at Beach Lake, Orchard Estates, Portage Bay Highlands, and Sandy Creek.

Lastly, the Office operates the Livingston County Septage Receiving Station benefitting households that have septic tanks.
