Battery Disposal

Livingston County recognized a need to provide a convenient way to properly dispose of used household batteries and rechargeable batteries. We worked with local units of governments and other agencies to establish battery collection container drop-off locations throughout the county. The current participating locations are listed below.

Please be sure to call first, as every agency has different office hours. Also, please respect the generosity of these organizations by only recycling during office hours, and only bringing in size “D” and smaller batteries.
