Corrections Officers are the behind the scenes backbone of the criminal justice system. Responsible for inmate and visitor security, transportation and visitation, security and monitoring of the entire jail facility, security of all inmate securities and more, Livingston County has openings for people who are ready and willing to step up to the task .

The Corrections Officer is a union position with starting pay of $43,400.66/year, eligible for annual step increases according to the established waged scale. The position also comes with the an awesome benefits package:  BCBS medical, pharmacy, dental and vision.
