Vital Records

The County Clerk’s vital records division will be closed to the public for training on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 from 10:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Normal business hours will resume on Wednesday, July 19th. The public should arrive for service that morning by 10:00 a.m. to ensure adequate time to process their application.

This closure will impact only the Vital Records division but will have a substantial impact on CPL applications, Marriage License applications, assumed names, notary applications and Vet ID’s.

Birth, Death, and Marriage Certificates - Order Online

Certified copies of Livingston County Marriage and Death records may be ordered online. Orders are processed daily and sent out via USPS First Class Mail.

Certified Copy Fees

One certified copy is $25.00. Additional copies of the same record ordered at the same time are $10.00 each.

Senior Discount (Birth Record Copies Only)
Persons age 65 years of age or older shall be charged a fee of $14.00 for a search and one certified copy of their birth.
