Search for a death record within our Vital Records. This search will not incur a search fee, so you many want to search for your record before ordering.
Order Certified Copies Online
Order certified copies of Livingston County Death records online. Orders are processed daily and sent via USPS First Class Mail.
Requesting Certified Copies
In Person
Death Certificate requests received in-person are provided the same day at the time of request.
What You Will Need:
- Full name of the deceased
- Date of death
- Payment in cash, check or credit card*
* Additional fee applies for credit/debit cards
By Mail
Please Include The Following:
- Completed Death Certificate Request Form
- Payment of check or money order
- Self-addressed postage paid envelope
Requests submitted by mail are processed within three business days. You should receive your copy(s) in 7-10 business days via USPS First Class Mail. We do not guarantee a delivery time.

Certified Copy Fees
A certified copy is $25.00. Additional copies of the same record ordered at the same time are $10.00 each.
