Continuation Permits are also referred to as New Permits, since these replace permits that have already been voided, already expired or the job has been taken over by a different person. The Livingston County Building Department can issue these permits under certain circumstances. Please note, these are not the same as permit extensions.

  • Already voided
  • Already expired
  • Job taken over by a different person
  • Permit application
  • Parcel ownership verification
  • Updated Land Use Form from the township (or new Land Use if new owner)
  • Updated Environmental Health & Drain Permit and/or waivers
  • New plans, if original plans changed

*Fees for permits are determined on a case-by-case basis.
